The Praying Heart of Jesus: Praying for Mission (John 17:13-19)

The heart of God is a missional heart who sends the Son into the world to show God’s mercy and grace towards us to offer salvation as a free gift through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ in the cross. And as the Son was sent by the Father into the world, as Christians we are sent by the Son into the world. Christian mission results by knowing the missional heart of God that dwells within us, by knowing the missional heart of Jesus, and by reflecting Jesus’ heart and life in all our practices to the world.
