What’s Happening at Ferndale

Check out our current events.

Sunday Service

We offer two Sunday morning service times at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Our 11:00 am service is recorded and live-streamed on our YouTube channel.  The same worship and message are provided in each service. Kids ministry is available during the 9:00 am service only.

Beginning on February 18th, 2024, we will be starting a third service at 5 pm. The evening will begin with a dinner followed by the service between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The service will include a short time of live musical worship and a video of the morning’s sermon. Our small groups and ministry teams will be your hosts. Parents are welcome to use the nursery during the evening; however, there are no scheduled volunteers.

Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study

We are looking forward to starting a new Thursday morning study on January 25th, running to April 25th. The new study is “Sermon on the Mount” by Jen Wilkin. In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right—a study on blessedness; a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships. What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard? What if we read them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus? This study will give you the opportunity to do just that. Come and learn from Jesus, just as His disciples did. The cost is $25 per book, payable at the first session. Registration for this study is now closed.

Wednesday Evening Ladies Bible Study

Wednesday Ladies Bible Study will be starting again on January 10th and running biweekly until April. The group will be working through “Matchless: The Life and Love of Jesus” by Angie Smith. In this study, Angie searches for truth as she unfolds the story of our matchless Savior—His mission, miracles, and message. Through her signature wit and accessible style, Angie unpacks Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand, regardless of how long you’ve been studying the Bible (a great option for new believers!). This study will deepen your understanding of Jesus through biblical, historical, and cultural insight and help you see Him less as an iconic figure and more as an intimate friend. The cost of the book is $20 per person. Registration for this study is now closed.
